The Kiefer Magical
Legacy Fund
The Kiefer Magical Legacy Fund was created in loving memory of Kiefer, a young person whose family wanted other families to have what they had a way in. The fund helps young people access life-changing treatment so that no family is turned away for their inability to pay.
Gifts to the fund are pooled and applied to care that insurance does not reach: the deductible a family cannot meet, the sessions after benefits run out, the transportation that makes a weekly appointment possible.
What your gift supports
- Treatment scholarships for uninsured and underinsured clients
- Continued outpatient sessions after insurance benefits are exhausted
- Family therapy and peer support hours that are rarely reimbursable
- Transportation and access support for clients traveling from rural Crook County
No family should have to decide between treatment and the rest of their month. That is the whole reason this fund exists.
How gifts are handled
Rimrock Trails Treatment Services is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Gifts to the Kiefer Magical Legacy Fund are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law, and you will receive an acknowledgment letter for your records. Gifts made in honor or in memory of someone can include a note to the family.
