About
Mark Williams is an outpatient counselor at Rimrock Outpatient Treatment, where Mark visits with clients having both Mental Health and Addictions concerns. With a background in Professional Counseling and Addictions Counseling, Mark has 12 years at a Bachelor’s level and 18 years of experience at a Master’s level specializing in Mental Health and Addictions Counseling. He holds a Master’s in Art Therapy Counseling from Marylhurst University. This degree encompasses the Professional Counselor requirements (LPC) for national/ state credentialing and meeting all credentialing requirements for ATR, Art Therapist Credentialing Board.
Throughout his career, Mark has contributed to workshops and training demonstrating a commitment to his work with addressing mental health and addictions and how these may interplay along with how art is used to help identify and treat core concerns that may be contributing to issues. He is passionate about mental health, addictions and art and continuously seeks to improve and contribute to learning more in order to assist his clients through their unique process.
Mark enjoys several interests in his leisure time that includes making art (photography, painting, pen and ink, sculptures), camping and environmental work, and working on his excursion vehicles.
