About
Joanna is an outpatient counselor at Rimrock Trails Treatment Services at the Bend office, providing individual therapy and family consultation services for adults and adolescents ages 15 and above. Joanna has a diverse background in social work operating from a trauma-informed perspective, with five years’ experience in both outpatient and residential settings, individual and group work. Joanna holds a Master of Social Work degree with a certificate in Violence Against Women and Children (VACW) from Rutgers University School of Social Work.
Throughout her career, Joanna has focused on promoting access to resources, applying evidence-based practices, integrating creative and adaptable interventions, and facilitating advocacy for clients. Joanna is passionate about supporting clients while practicing a client-centric and culturally competent approach tailored to meet individual needs.
In her free time Joanna enjoys exploring beautiful places, gardening, various creative outlets, and playing board games outside.
